RIP Rover
Earlier this week, our vaunted friend (and sometimes enemy) left us this week. He was one of the original denizens of our loft at TFP (Top Floor Productions) on the edge of Bed-Stuy at 206 Classon Avenue. It was a 7,000 sqft loft, that was dirty, unheated, and had an odd shower contraption that sometimes didn't work in the winter, but it was a great place filled with lots of memories, video games, nights at the pool table, basketball games (that almost always ended in some sort of fight) jam sessions, and good times. Rover almost didn't make it past the first few weeks when he was brought into the loft and had to be hand fed, but he made it and outlasted even his brother who mysteriously disappeared one day. Ironically enough Rover finally got to live the good life in an actually heated apartment (as 206 Classon Ave was cleared to make way for glass and metal condos) but never quite adjusted. Rover was 13 years old when he died. Here's a few shots of him and the other friends from TFP who knew him.
